In President Obama's 2013 Climate Action Plan, he's quoted from his 2nd inaugural address "America cannot resist this transition, we must lead it." We must follow Germany's lead, then overtake them and lead the US to energy independence. We must subsidize the next generation of energy storage technologies. We must subsidize the solar energy industries on the same scale as we do the fossil fuel industries. If the US military states that this is a priority, IT'S A PRIORITY.
