The Office of the President will form a special committee to review options for legislation to limit corporate influence in government policy, and actively pursue feasible options for developing a fund to assist start-up and struggling businesses in conjunction with the SBA, the departments of Commerce and Labor. Developing a group of private sector people of varied small business background to monitor and manage the program. Small business is the economic engine and we need to both kick start it and support it. Sustainable business is our future, if we are to have one. Strengthen Executive Order 13514 and enforce it, reorganize GSA so it works for the people instead of the special interests, and make small business interface positions that actually assist small business to engage.
