We, the people of California call for immediate attention to the second amendment which reads, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” My petition is having firearms in open carry. This basically is allowing citizens to carry their guns around on their hips or in an open fashion. For many in the gun control community, that will seem like a crazy idea. State law bans ordinary civilians from carrying openly displayed firearms. For those that want fewer guns on the street this is for you, if a citizen has a gun on his hip, you can see it and leave the premises. This is a perfect way to prevent crime and also allow citizens their right to carry legally.
