The WAR ON DRUGS is an abomination for its cost in dollars to accomplish nothing, for the loss of revenue that could be reaped by its legalization and control if it was taxed much the same as tobacco or alcohol. Its an abomination in lives lost: police and border patrol officers killed trying to stop it, lost lives of people for using unregulated drugs. Young people are losing their ability to turn their lives around after having a criminal record for a crime that probably never would have occurred had they not been placed into the criminal system in the first place. It’s been proven that teenagers do not have the mental maturity to know what is good for them and what is not. Experts show they do not reach that maturity until well into their mid-20's. IT DOES NOT WORK! STOP IT NOW!
