The War on Terrorism Should not be a War on our Rights!

Created by I.K. on October 30, 2014

While the idea behind the so called " war on terrorism" is in the right place, this should not be used in a way that discriminated against any person. This is a major abuse of power. The idea that law enforcement is allowed to observe, search and do just about anything they want as long as it is because they are preventing the dangers of terrorism is a messed up ideal. There are many cases in which this type of sham is misused and an excuse to wrongly accuse and search people due to racism. The media has helped blow up the idea that Islamic and middle eastern people are terrorists when in majority, this is not true. Even "random" airport searches happen to be people of color. We need to reform the rights of law enforcement so that we are no longer violate our basic human rights.
