The WashingtonPost Charles Lane 18 Year Olds Are Too Young To be in Porn Petition
Introduce New Legislation that raises minimum required age for pornography from 18 to 21.
In light of hundreds of scientific reports (e.g. Time magazine's Secrets of the Teen Brain) that very clearly state a teenagers brain is still in its formative stages, not fully yet formed, still growing, lacking in faculties associated with proper judgement and impulse control, asking new legislation be introduced for raising the age from 18 to 21, giving three more years of growth to the human brain, to make better decisions. The United States should take better care of its youth and with this legislation that is the direction we are going in.
