The continued settlement of the West Bank is a barrier to ending the decades old Arab-Israeli conflict. By detailing the forceful seizure of Palestinian land and the Israeli Government's response to non-violent protest, the documentary film "5 Broken Cameras" will help the Obama Administration frame the issue.
However, this petition, and the signatories of it, are not only asking the Obama Administration to watch the film, but to also use its remaining time in office to make specific Middle East peace process proposals.
