we must address what i believe is a grave concern for our country ... water. i believe a nationwide infrastructure to move water is imperative. with an history of drought areas, areas subject to flooding, we could capture runoff and direct it across the country to farmlands, et al. well considered, this could offset these natural disasters and transform them into opportunities that would benefit all. we move oil and natural gas through pipelines ... an equally, if not greater need is water!
As in the past, when a network of highways were initiated to connect our country and create jobs, a water infrastructure is a natural and a basic need for all!
