We the people ask the federal government to Tell us what the federal government is doing about an issue:

Water protectors are being brutally and unconstitutionally policed on their own land.

Created by S.H. on November 05, 2016

Native Peoples peacefully acting as Water Protectors are being treated brutally by organized police. They are being: shot at with rubber bullets and bean bags, pepper sprayed, rounded up for arrest, numbers drawn on their skin, strip searched, caged like animals; all while they are peacefully at prayer and assembling on their own lands. (Further, it has now been documented that sacred burial sites have been desecrated by the oil company.) These heinous activities should not be allowed on American soil and are reminiscent of the unfortunate genocide of colonial days against indigenous peoples. This sufferance is inhuman, cannot stand, and must be stopped before innocent life is lost. Please take action to stop the oil companys brutal policing against the Water Protectors.
