We, the American Negroes, the Descendants of indigenous People of Color request to be Identified as American Aboriginals

In regard to the H.R. 4238 Bill, the mandated term, "African American" is paper genocide and it is a disservice to many American Negroes, or People of Color. Many so-called Black people in America do not have African and American parentage to rightfully claim to be "African American," and many have no African ancestry. Any American Aborigine and African mix that may have resulted through slavery has been bred out centuries ago. Thus, many do not identify with "African American," a misnomer depriving us of our true identities; stripping the existence of our historical classification as Negroes; the word used by the early Europeans for the American Aborigines, and incorrectly placing the heredity and origin of all People of Color to one foreign continent, Africa. We are American Aboriginals.
