We are asking for anti discrimination laws to be created and implemented for those who are transgender.

Individuals might experience gender identity issues if the sex with which they identify is not congruent with the body they were born into. Discrimination comes in many forms including, but not limited to, employment, housing, public places such as restrooms, school and attaining things such as healthcare and legal documents with proper gender identification. We are petitioning the federal government for nation wide anti-discrimination laws that include provisions for gender identity in the areas of employment, housing, public facilities, education, and access to healthcare.
