We are asking that the state to give local fire department/Stations/Districts a match. Give us a matched amount of money

Created by L.H. on December 04, 2012

We are asking that each state that is governed by the United States government to give a matching amount of money to volunteer fire station/department/districts.
This would give better resources to those who are lacking the funds and need to purchase new equipment such as but not limited to: fire apparatus, bunker gear, tools and equipment and putting members through a fire academy to teach them how to fight fires.

This would only help volunteer fire station/department/districts who make less than three hundred thousand a year. Below are a list of rules and regulations.

- Each station/department/district would get a matching amount. If “Fire District A” gets one-hundred thousand dollars a year in fire taxes the state would match it with its own one- hundred thousand dollar contribution
