We ask the CDC to adjust the new opiod medication laws. Permanently ill people are being mistreated by drs and hospitals

I am a thirty year survivor of lupus, a very difficult disease to manage. It is quite painful. People with lupus and other permanent &painful illnesses are loosing their pain meds because drs are afraid of loosing their licences.We understand people abuse these meds but most of us have no other way to get relief. We used to be treated for pain in the hospitals but now they send us back to docs. We have had deaths of people who turned to street drugs because they lost their meds. My local hospital gave a woman with a UTI morphine for pain and me a shot of steroids, I'm allergic to Tylenol, I'm on blood thinners so aspirin &Advil is out. Not everyone is a junkie. Please revise these laws, people are hurting. Some are committing suicide;some die from street drugs! This must stop!!
