We ask that drug dogs be re-evaluated as a tool for detecting drugs and Emily Newman of Oklahoma face no drug charges

A dogs nose is not always right and in many cases this has been proven. Emily Newman of Oklahoma was stopped for a routine check by police in which the police K9 circled her car then lunged through her window tearing a portion of her face off. Even after this horrific attack the authorities plan on charging Emily with small possession. This petition is to have all of her charges dropped as well as a settlement made by the state to cover her medical expenses in this horrible accident. I would like this petition to help end k9 units in routine traffic stops of any kind as they are not always right and have unpredictable behavior. Emily was not a violent criminal and should not face any charges after such a horrific attack for simply being a user.
