We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We ask for the end of political correctness in our society because it is a restriction on freedom of speech

Created by B.M. on July 16, 2016

Political correctness has made this society weak and is a violation of the first amendment. It restricts freedom of speech, and has allowed those who are easily offended to act entitled and untouchable. We aren't allowed to use certain words without getting in serious trouble, sometimes legal, sometimes causing someone's termination. There isn't a law for political correctness, but if federal officials spoke in a politically incorrect vernacular, it would sustain this country's history of promoting freedom of speech.
