The regulators in the State of Oklahoma have exercised a lack of diligence in their responsibility to insure the safety of the people and their property in effectively mitigating the induced seismicity that is responsible for the earthquakes effecting the region. The majority of 5.0 and greater magnitude earthquakes in all of the contiguous United States in 2016 have been centered in Oklahoma including the largest earthquake. These earthquakes are avoidable and must be mitigated in order to insure the safety and well-being of our country and its energy infrastructure that is located in the region.
