In the days following the results of the presidential election we have seen a national spike in hate crimes against people who are gay, black, Muslim, and other targeted groups. In this moment we must show that violence is unacceptable as it is the only way to protect our people. We ask that you make a showing of prosecuting hate crimes across the country or we fear it will continue to get worse.
