Rod Blagojevich who is a former Governor of the great State of Illinois was convicted and was sentenced to 14 years in prison for federal offenses that occurred while he was Governor. Rod has served 4 years of his sentence and based on his own words, and those of family, friends and fellow inmates Rod has admitted his wrongdoings and is now a changed person. Rod is married to a wonderful wife named Patti who is alone raising their two children without their father. We ask that President Barack Obama offer Executive Clemency and allow Rod to leave prison based on the sentence of the time that has already been served. Commuting the prison sentence to time served would allow Rod to again be a productive citizen in society again, and be offered the opportunity to help raise his children.
