The 2nd Amendment says the right of Americans to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Some uninformed people claim the right is conditional upon the formation of "state militias". That was not the intent of the Founding Fathers. They only described one (of many) reasons for the right. They knew that arms in the hands of Americans would protect our OTHER rights, by discouraging tyranny, foreign interference, criminal acts, etc.
ANY tax, regulation, licensing, registration, ban, restriction, waiting period, etc. on weapons and the ammunition they use is CLEARLY an infringement.
I ask the President, Congress and Supreme Court to explain why they are not defending this Constitutional right which they swore an oath to defend.
