In this unprecedented election the American people will not have access to a Presidential candidate's income tax return. Despite a fifty year precedent for candidates, Mr. Trump refuses to provide his. Given that the Trump Organization, a privately held corporation, has business interests throughout the world, the people are given no opportunity to assess potential conflicts of interests. We call on President Obama to use his authority under the Internal Revenue Service Code, Section 6103(g), to request Mr. Trumps returns for the last twelve years be delivered to him or his designee for release to the public.
