We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We Ask You to Start Trade Negotiations with Britain Following The Recent EU Referendum

Created by G.D. on June 28, 2016

For 20 years, the U.S. has not had a trade agreement with Britain, one of our closest allies. Now that Britain has left the EU, we the people feel it is time for the U.S. to start open trade negotiations and strengthen our special relationship with our closest allies overseas. Britain is the 5th largest economy currently and we are each other’s largest foreign investors. This investment supports approximately one million jobs in each country. So, any trade agreement between our countries would serve to benefit the economy greatly. We respectfully request the White House to look into mutually beneficial trade agreements with Britain.
