We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

We beg for a direct reform of the mental health sector among the Department of Veteran Affairs - 22 a day is 22 too many

Created by C.H. on November 29, 2016

The battlefield is safer than psychiatry. Statistically speaking, you are less likely to be shot by an enemy than to be killed by a pharmaceutical drug. That's the truth about psychiatry. 22 Veterans a day commit suicide, but less than 52% of these soldiers have ever deployed. Even with proper diagnosis, these returning soldiers and veterans do not know where to turn to get help - and pharmaceutical cocktails are simply killing our beloved soldiers. Our government needs to understand the aftermath of combat trauma and how to prepare for warriors when they return home with love, compassion, and appropriate therapies - NOT PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. We are proposing for a direct reform of the mental health platform among the VA, and the implementation of effective therapies.
