In the past 269 days, at least 790 US Citizens have been murdered by officers, many of the victims were unarmed, mentally ill, and/or of color and yet, there is still no federal police misconduct system in place. How many more of our friends/neighbors/co-workers have to be killed in order to grab their attention? Senseless acts of tragedy should be shamed on, not praised; we live in times when hate and fear seem stronger than to trust and love. Obama Administration, it's not an act of funding (the three year budget of $75 million is far enough), but the video evidence already at hand SHOULD lead to prosecution. Reestablish trust and communication in our communities, demilitarize the police, vote out those who do condone this issue.
