Sikhs have always been ready to join the Armed Forces and fight for their country. But we cannot compromise our religious articles of faith. We cannot remove our turbans and neither are we supposed to cover them with any other type of head covering. Due to this, Sikhs have been denied entry into the Military. If we are not allowed into the military now, then the U.S. Government cannot change this rule at the time of a future draft so that we can be sent into combat. Either allow us now or never.
