Many men and women go straight into the armed forces after high school which means they are only about 18 years of age. At this age they made a life changing decision to put themselves in harms way in order to ensure the safety of others; the ultimate sacrifice. If they are able to put their life on the line for this country at 18, they should be able to consume alcohol at 18.
