Approximately 26 million US citizens are employed at a part time job. Unfortunately, not all workers get paid what they deserve based on experience level. There are some places of work where employees who got hired first, get paid less than those who are hired later than them, simply because they began to pay more at a later date. For example, an employee who has been working at a business for 3 years only gets paid 8.15, however, someone who had been working for 3 months gets paid 8.75. This allows businesses to get away with paying employees less then what they deserve. At a specific business, the YMCA, it is known for being virtually impossible to get a raise. This is a way to cheat experienced workers out of compensation.
