we believe the Obama Administration should reconsider the definition of children and include the term young adult

Created by D.B. on March 25, 2016

We believe the Obama Administration should reconsider the definition of children and include the term young adult offender. Representing individuals who are serving life without parole sentences committed as young adults [ages18 and less than 26 years of age] on the date of conviction.
We believe the 114 Congress should submit a bill expressing the need to eliminate life without parole for young adults [ages 18 and less than age 26].
We believe the United States Attorneys should review cases that show disproportionate life without parole sentences in federal, state, or local courts. We believe some officials recommend different punishments, pains, or penalties by reason of color or race.
