We believe the Obama Administration should repeal HR 347 because it is a clear violation of the First Amendment.

Created by C.M. on October 26, 2013

We believe the Obama Administration should repeal HR 347 because it is in violation of the First Amendment.
Also known as the Trespass Bill, which makes it a federal offense to protest near government buildings and grounds, as well as any location where any politician or foreign dignitary protected by the Secret Service is visiting, or at any "special event of national significance."

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.
