We the People believe the Obama Administration should be the deciding factor in aiding the change in the United States to help reduce waste, pollution, and overuse of resources and precious energy. By requiring federal buildings to convert their materials and uses to environmentally sound products and forms of energy. The primary goal is to help lower our countries carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, lower our non-renewable resource use, and the amount of excess waste that is accumulated through current processes. A benefit of transferring the way we create our buildings and the activities we carry out in them after they are built into eco-friendly procedures and materials would also save millions of dollars for our country in the long run and help preserve our environment.
