Many video games and related merchandise are censored based on the belief that they could cause harm to minors exposed if they were to contain certain qualities such as violent speech. This shouldn't be the case and should be the parents and guardians', job to understand the material within the games their children are playing and shouldn't depend on the government or Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) to do it for them.
