The debates in the United Nation's have begun over the Palestinian quest for statehood. The U.N. must demand that the Palestinian leadership agree to negotiate with Israel in the spirit of good faith and comprimise and not be given a forum at the U.N. to preach rhetoric and hatred. Israeli leaders have been willing to come to the table and negotiate, but the Palestinians have refused Israeli offers and concessions and continue to threaten the security of
Israel having demonstrated by their actions that they are not for established peace. Moral discernment must be used by the U.N. to ostracize Pres.Ahmadinejad and not give him a forum to spew his hatred. These actions go
directly against the motto and mission of the U.N., to be a
worldwide body bring international peace to the world.
