After the election, Trump announced, "I will be president for all Americans," yet the message of his campaign said otherwise. Research before the election indicated that racism and sexism were accurate predictors of Trump supporters. Trump's apparent support of bigotry also garnered glowing endorsements from the KKK.
The days following Trump's victory have been filled with physical & verbal abuse against women as well as people of color, Muslims & other minorities, perpetrated by individuals who interpret Trump's election as sanctioning their hate crimes. The KKK plans a victory parade for Trump in North Carolina.
Minorities are scared.
If Trump is indeed a "president for all America," he will publicly denounce this behavior and establish protective measures for these populations.
