We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We the college students of America demand our government to make tuition free for all US citizens.

Created by A.S. on December 20, 2016

Many young Americans lack the critical thinking and understanding of subjects like Science, culture, religion, art, language, geography and politics. In today's rapidly expanding globalization, those subjects are fundamental to the expantion of knowledge. One of the biggest reasons why students do not pursue a college education is money. They simply cant afford it.
According to CNN Politics free college tuition for all US citizens would cost the federal government $50-$70 Billion annually. This may seem like a gargantuan number. However, it compares nothing to the military's $698 Billion in 2010 and $601 Billion in 2015 according to Council on Foreign Relations. Cutting military spending combined with higher texes on high income households would benefit this country more than any war
