We ask for a bail to be granted and / or have Levon Hayrapetian under house arrest. M. Hayrapetian was arrested by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) on arrival at the airport in Moscow last July 15, 2014 for his alleged criminal connections. He was placed by a Moscow court on remand in custody until his trial.
His detention is incessantly extended.
Levon Hayrapetian needs proper care due to variety of serious diseases he suffers from, including diabetes and cardiovascular problems.
Currently, the bail and / or placing Levon Hayrapetian under house arrest is denied.
This is a contempt of human rights, which includes the respect for human dignity.
A humanist cannot tolerate necessary the care for an accused be denied.
