We Demand That President Obama Address the Monoply of the College Board Organization and their Abuse of High School Kids

Created by A.S. on August 27, 2013

Upon graduating from high school this last spring I had many things to reflect on. I thought about my accomplishments, my peers, my teachers, but one thought that does cross my mind that inferiorities me to this day is all the money I gave to College Board over my four years. This so called "non profit" organization has it's hand in SATs, ACTs, the AP Tests, score reports, and even their ridiculous new staple: SAT subject tests. Statistically every year of my studies the cost of these tests, most of which required for college-bound students, would go up around $3.50; the president of the organization,Gaston Caperton, alone made a hefty salary of $600,000 in 2005 alone. I can think of plenty of bright young college students that would enjoy a quarter of that salary towards their education.
