Newly elected President Poroshenko of Ukraine clearly promised to solve the problem of foreign-currency mortgages during his election campaign in 2014 as well as tens of others loud promises he made.
Homebuyers had already faced rising repayments as the dollar strengthened with the onset of the global financial crisis in 2008, but repayments have soared since 2014, with the US Dollar rising 300 percent against the Ukrainian hryvnia for a less than a year.
On the 2nd of June 2015 Ukrainian government passed the bill #1558-1 that would save hundreds of thousands of households however President decided to change his mind.
We demand Mr Poroshenko to keep his promise and sign the bill #1558-1.
