We as gun owners were devastated but the senseless killing of the teachers and student at Sandy Point. We understand that several persons in the U.S. want to ban assault rifles. We know that such ban will not work because of “pre-ban” status, underground sells, etc
.
We know that more restrictions of firearms will not work nor will it be accepted by most Americans. We feel that there should be a nationwide educational program put into place, that will teach the general public the physical and mental signs that these persons are about to commit this crimes. We also feel that a mechanism should be in place to report such persons. In other words we need a way focus on the person instead of the weapons.
