We Have A Dream. Don't Shoot! Vote Now. Let Freedom Ring! - A Martin Luther King Remembrance

Created by M.J. on August 20, 2014

It is the eve of 51 anniversary since the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom or "The Great March on Washington". Since Brown v. Board of Education, what has been learned? What has been the journey from Selma, AL to Ferguson, MO? The youth of today have forgotten the importance of I HAVE A DREAM. Today, it is not about "Colored" vs White. The peaceful protest advocated by Dr. King has fallen of deaf ears and forgotten by those who intimidate and incite violence. Just because I have a right to own a gun, does not mean I have a right to intimidate using it, let alone use it. The true American Exceptionalism and goal of the citizen is guided by the rule of law as a moral principal in the search for truth, justice, freedom in order to preserve our Country.
