We have a right to protect ourselves, so why can't the government help, they only every 18 years give use a gun to us.

We need protection only the people without protecting get hurt. The gun will help, you may think guns are the problem and want to get rid of them. Well go ahead then we will have no way to protect ourselves when a murder steals a gun and shoots us and the only way we can hit him and protect ourselves from the distance he can shoot us is with a bow. Do you really want to take a bow to a gun fight. Lastly taking away guns won't lower crime or murders because we are people that are extremely smart.
