We need Drug Testing for people on Food Stamps/Welfare every six months, and should be part of application process!

Created by H.L. on August 24, 2013

The People who are currently on or are trying to be on Food Stamps/Welfare should receive a random drug screen every six months if their on the program, or to be added along with the application process!
Enrollment has increased to 70% since 2008 which is 47.8 million people as of 2012. The US Government spent a record of 74.6 billion on Food Stamps in 2012.
We can make this number lower and provide more assistance for other families in need if we eliminate the people who are abusing the program. If the people can afford drugs they can afford to buy their own groceries for their family's. There are a lot of families that rely on Food Stamps however, If the people cannot pass a random, mandatory drug screen it will benefit the ones who can and who will. Lets be fair!
