We need to make Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" the national anthem.

Created by J.C. on November 14, 2012

In a time of great division in this country, we need to remind ourselves, that we're "Never gonna give [each other] up, never gonna let [each other] down, never gonna run around and desert [each other]." We should reinforce the notions that we're "never gonna make [each other] cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt [each other]."

The song speaks to standing next to one's neighbors, even if we don't always agree. It speaks to integrity, to supporting those people around us, to the cultures that make America the great nation that it is.

That, and we can Rickroll the whole world every time we win a medal in the Olympics.
