When employers cuts a paycheck, there is notification of that payment to the IRS when they deposit employment taxes.
What if we could have a system so that when that notification changes (for either a reduction in wages or no wages), unemployment (partial or full) benefits initiate automatically?
It could even be set up with an option for direct deposit.
When people live from paycheck to paycheck, a week or two of unemployment can have a pretty severe impact. This could help moderate that impact.
