We need tougher laws nationwide for animal abusers. 5 yrs jail - Felony & kids taken away mandatory and no plea bargains

I believe we need tougher laws nationwide for animal abusers. There is an epidemic of animal abuse across the country. I think the president should pass some new laws against animal abusers. Stiffer penalties such as minimum of 5 years jail time no bail when they are waiting to stand trial and also when they are released another year of mental health evaluation and never to be allowed to own an animal again. Also if they have children, their children need to be removed from their home and placed in foster care for good until adopted because anyone who abuses an animal in their care should be expected to abuse children. They should also get 2 years parole afterwards upon their release with random home home inspections without being announced and a mandatory curfew and it be a felony
