Dr. Belaji Yegneswaran is an invaluable member of our critical care team. He has been responsible for saving many lives. Unfortunately, a small paperwork error in renewing his VISA has led to him likely being deported very soon. It is so very difficult to recruit excellent critical care physicians in Erie, Pennsylvania. Losing Dr. Yegneswaran would be a detriment to our patient population in intensive care. Please don't allow a small paperwork error to interfere with our patient care. Health care is an important issue for this administration. Please do not allow UPMC Hamot to lose such a great physician!
