The US Constitution was created and sold to the people as sending men to the nation's capitol as representative voices for the people. As history is told all for the people by the people's voices were never heard. I want my representatives to represent ME and not special interest groups and lobbyists. I want the representatives to ASK me my opinion on life changing laws that effect my everyday life whether the topic is women's reproductive health or voter registration laws. My taxes more than cover the expenses for polls. I want to feel represented rather than handled or ignored.
