We the People appeal in good conscious for a repeal of Roe v. Wade for the preservation of the American heritage.

Created by B.D. on November 26, 2012

In 1973, the decision concerning the eligibility for aborting a baby was made based upon a decided age of "viability" which is stated as follows: The Roe decision defined "viable" as being "potentially able to live outside the mother's womb, albeit with artificial aid", adding that viability "is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks."
With advances in modern science and a contemporary understanding of biology, we, as Americans must recognize that life begins not at a perceived age of "viability", but rather at conception. Evidence shows immediate signs of life, whether able to thrive outside of the womb or not.
We must end this butchery if we hope to seal an American heritage and maintain an American people beyond ourselves.
