in the cities of Denver and Colorado springs, Colorado there has been a sit and lie ordinance put in place. this ordinance restricts the people in this state from sitting or lying anywhere on the ground without a chair. also if you are caught sitting or lying on the ground you are subject to arrest. this law is unconstitutional due to our right to rest. this law also says you cannot lie in a park if it's within the city boundaries. in protest to this, the law enforcement officers have threatened people with jail time and impounding their pets for simply sitting down. please join us in petition/protest of this unconstitutional ordinance.
