The Federal Government should remove Industrial Hemp from the Controlled Substance Act so it can be grown in every State. It is technically not illegal to grow Industrial Hemp, but a permit from the DEA is required . Because of Industrial Hemp's many economic benefits, it should be removed from the Controlled Substance Act. Growing and processing Industrial Hemp is not only a need but a growing industry that the United State farmers, entrepreneurs and everyday people would benefit. Hemp products include clothing, food, fuel, a host of consumer and building products, and can help in cleaning up soil pollution. Industrial Hemp is a non-psychoactive relative of marijuana and should be removed from the Controlled Substance Act to help boost the economy by creating new jobs.
