We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We the people are petitioning the incoming Trump administration to continue petitioning via the White House website

Created by C.C. on November 15, 2016

In September 2011, the Obama Administration launched We The People - Your Voice In Our Government. For the past five years, this simple petitioning platform, provided on the White House website, has been a direct voice to our nation's leaders.

There is no guarantee that this line of communication to the federal government will remain open after the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, 2017.

We the people are asking our President-elect to promise the continued operation of petitioning via the White House website, and to continue providing official responses for petitions that reach the 100,000 signature threshold.
