Edward Snowden risked his own life and safety to make the American people aware that American intelligence agencies were unconstitutionally collecting data on Americans. He also showed that Director of National Intelligence James Clapper had to admit he lied to Congress, in regards to his congressional testimony that the NSA does not spy on America. In response to the Snowden leaks, the house passed the USA Freedom Act in 2014 to stop bulk collection of metadata from Americans. President Obama, you acknowledged that the surveillance debate would have never been started w/o Edward Snowden's leaks. Please pardon Edward Snowden. It may be too dangerous for him to come back to the US, but by restoring of his passport he can choose to live anywhere in the world instead of being stuck in Russia.
